CALL FOR APPLICATION

Participate in Short Courses designed to support skills development for entrepreneurial TVET in Sierra Leone. 

Life-By-Design is implementing a Skills Development Fund (SDF) project funded by the Government of Sierra Leone and the World Bank.  The offering covers professional short courses on 
• Entrepreneurship, 
• Sales & Marketing, and 
• Customer Experience Management.
Each Short Course programme lasts for a duration of six (6) months.

This call for application is intended for youths between the ages of 18 - 35 years with special emphasis on women and girls and physically disadvantaged groups. Applicants are expected to come from different categories ranging from but not limited to university students and recent graduates, unemployed and under-employed youths, early stage entrepreneurs, customer service delivery institutions, and the innovation and problem-solving domain, etc.

Applicants must have:
• A minimum of four (4) credits in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination
- Tertiary Level Certificate or Diploma
- A University Degree
• Eligible applicants must also have one of the following:
- A viable business/early stage start-up which shows signs of strong potential.
- A strong business idea that would benefit from entrepreneurship education and focused training.
- A strong track record of social innovation and/or community problem solving.

• All interested candidates must submit together with their application, a business idea they would want to develop and pursue throughout the training. These business ideas must be actionable and address a social problem which your community currently faces.

NOTE: An information session will be held at the Life-By-Design office at 20B Old Railway Line, Brookfields, Freetown, on Tuesday 11th May 2021 from 11am - 1pm.
